Alexandros Panayides

Founder & CEO

  • Uni-Voy was founded by Alexandros Panayides. Alexandros went to the US at 16 on a high school scholarship, then earned a university scholarship at Claflin University in South Carolina, where he played D2 basketball and graduated in Business Administration & Sports Management.

    Having been through it himself — applications, scholarships, visas, moving abroad alone at sixteen — he founded Uni-Voy to give students the guidance he had to find on his own. He works directly with every student, from the first consultation to their first weeks on campus.

Ioannis Alexandrides

Executive & Marketing director

  • Ioannis left Cyprus for the UK at eighteen and is completing a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Edinburgh. He put that application together on his own — course choices, personal statement, funding, the paperwork, the move!

    Alongside his degree he has built a career as a professional goalkeeper, playing for Ermis Aradippou in Cyprus before moving and training with professional clubs like Dundee United and Hearts FC in Scotland, and now playing for Edinburgh University's 1st XI. Competing at that level while carrying a quantitative degree in a second language taught him what students really need going abroad: a straight answer, a plan, and someone who stays with them after the offer letter. At Uni-Voy he leads strategy and marketing.
